Arrange Christmas decorations by colour 

Another tip for storing your yuletide decorations away in an organised manner is to arrange them by colour. For instance, putting red baubles with other red baubles,  and green tinsel strips with fellow green tinsel, and so forth. This may sound simplistic, but it’s a savvy way of organising mountains of decorations.

Use clear resealable plastic garment bags

Garment bags aren’t only useful for storing clothes, they can also be used to store Christmas decorations. Using clear garment bags will mean you can easily see what’s inside without having to rummage through them. This will save you time when unpacking decorations next year. 

Hang festive wreaths on coat hangers

Festive wreaths can look truly dazzling, can’t they? No porch is complete at Christmas time without one. When you’re faced with storing away your wreaths in the post-Christmas period, you can hang your festive wreaths up on coat hangers in a clothes cupboard.
