Woodwork is second nature to Prinul, who grew up on a timber saw-mill in Kenya. Having trained in Fine Art at Central Saint Martins, London, Prinul went on to work at a specialist hardwood merchants. Here he gained valuable experience in design and technique. Prinul’s passion for crafting bespoke wooden furniture was realised and Made in Chiswick was born.
Renowned for his attention to detail, Prinul works closely with the finest architects and developers to create unique pieces of furniture. As demand has grown, so too has his need for workspace, and this is where Made in Chiswick met Magenta Storage.
Prinul approached us for flexible workspace and initially rented one of our 175 square foot units. He converted the unit into a workshop where he designed and handcrafted everything from kitchen units, wardrobes, alcoves and more. When the neighbouring storage unit became available he decided to rent it and removed the wall to create a single 325 square foot unit.

Magenta storage units can be used for any purpose and to store anything, providing it is not illegal and not living. As the sole key holder, you may come and go as you please, and our 24hr CCTV and security systems will give you added peace of mind. The price of each unit includes contents insurance and a padlock as standard, and you can increase or decrease the storage size and duration as necessary.
So, what is next for Prinul? He is currently taking part in a DIY SOS project to support victims of the Grenfell Tower disaster. The Dale Youth Boxing Club used to meet on the first floor of the fateful tower block and have been operating out of a car park. As part of the DIY SOS team, including the Duke of Cambridge, Prinul is volunteering his time and services to replace the boxing club facilities and create a multi-use community space.

For Prinul, and many other entrepreneurs like him, Magenta offers flexible workspace and storage space for a growing business. Want to join these space savvy businesses? Get a free quote on our website or call our team today on 0800 802 1360.
